About the Owner
Jeff is the owner and operator of MOKAN Home Improvement. When Jeff was 19 years old he became a proud soldier in the United States Army. Shortly after completing his service in the Army, through hard work and determination, he had completed his Bachelors in Behavioral Science and served for the public as a Police Officer. During his time in law enforcement his knowledge and expertise in providing exceptional customer service with integrity was little to none. After fulfilling a rewarding service to others, Jeff decided to expand his knowledge in the contracting industry after going through an insurance claim after a vigorous storm hit his home and the insurance denied his claim. He realized that the insurance companies lacked the integrity that he believed was most important. He fought the insurance company with professionalism, and with facts while he was trained to collect facts to enforce law.
After providing the insurance company with the facts at hand that were undeniable, Jeff won his claim and the
insurance paid out all that was damaged within the storm.
In 2006, Jeff had an opportunity to travel and put his expertise to work in the storm restoration industry, dealing
with catastrophe claims. He was extremely effective, yet went on to obtain his adjusters license for a more thorough
understanding of "the other half". With his experience and knowledge of construction, quickly he identified an industry
that appeared to be lacking in "professionals" "integrity" and "pride of workmanship". That's when he formed MOKAN Home
Improvement.
Jeff says, "I was raised with integrity and compassion for those around me, those traits are key elements of this company and demanded from all who work for us. Our goal is to not only meet, but to exceed expectations and I'm proud to say, that's what we've been doing ever since!" MOKAN Home Improvement has since helped thousands of customers with catastrophe and non-catastrophe restorations while maintaining the reputation and ethics he began with. "No one job is more important than another, they're all just different," he says.
Jeff's favorite quote: "Without Conflict There Is No Growth." Something his Psychology professor always said, Jeff adopted this saying and understands that dealing with conflict "storm damage" allows him to be at his best when dealing with the insurance companies as your advocate. In Jeff's free time, he enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking (he especially likes it when his family comes with!)
